Jatavis Brown Takes Retirement At Just 26

26-year-old Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jatavis Brown, who was a free-agent pickup this offseason, has turn his back on football and retired from the game.

Brown signed a one-year deal with the Eagles in March after spending four year with LA Chargers.  His contract would pay him a base salary of $910,000 and included $550,000 in guarantees.

The Eagles placed Brown on the reserve/retired list Sunday.
