Liverpool’s German manager, Jurgen Klopp is known to have a strong sense of humor. An often self-deprecating man despite being one of the most successful soccer managers in the world right now. But he’s also not shy at laying down the law when he sees fit, including to his own staff and players sat on the benches during a match.
During Liverpool’s match against Chelsea on Sunday, Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen was sent off to which some of Liverpool’s players and staff celebrated by clapping and with no crowd in the stadium Klopp was clearly able to hear it. Viewing this as poor sportsmanship Klopp berated his own colleagues insisting that they don’t clap when an opponent is sent of again.
Klopp is well liked within English soccer.
